Helgoland is the rock island in the German bight. The Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research has its Biological Station there. The strange tower is the water storage. We were in the restaurant Bunte Kuh (named after the ship which captured the infamous pirate Klaus Stoertebeker). Ink on red paper (actually it was the restaurant´s napkin), colored with pencil. 2012 Manfred Schloesser
