This was one of our most expensive lunches we had. But the view was stunning. The Douro valley near Pinhao is the area where the wine comes from.

After a long walk through the old part of Coimbra we had dinner in this Cervejaria. The TV was on and the guy was following the football game. His wife was obviousely not interested.

Porto Bookshop 2013
One of the famous bookstores worlwide is the Livraria Lello & Irmão in Porto.

Porto_Dom_LuisBridge2013
The Dom Luis brigde across the Douro river connects Vila Nova de Gaia (where the port wine is stored) and Porto. There are two levels and the steel constrcution by the Eiffel company was opened in 1886.
